Christmas Gifts for the Cat Lover (Guest Post)
I have a good friend who absolutely adores cats. Seriously, she likes all kinds of cats. She has a leopard print bag, a leopard print coat and a cute cat clock that meows. She is seriously into cats. So I was thinking about what to get her for Christmas and I couldn’t figure it out. She already has all kinds of cat stuff so what else could I get her that she doesn’t already have? Then inspiration struck.
This friend also happens to have a love and talent for gardening. She has a gorgeous garden that has gorgeous flowers, beautiful garden fence edging, and is overall a space that I wish I could reproduce. So I decided to see if I could find a really fun cat figurine or statue that would fit perfectly in her garden. Of course, by the time I thought of this it was already late October, which meant (for me) that I had to hunt a bit, because all the stores had already sold out of most of their summer stuff. I definitely couldn’t go to Wal-mart for this one. So, of course, I looked online. I found a really great site that specializes in all kinds of statues for the garden and has a whole section dedicated to just cat garden statues. And being the cheapskate that I am, I even got it on sale (go me!).
So I am going to get the cat statue, tag and a collar and have it engraved to let my friend know just how much she means to me. And then I will wrap up the cat statue and give it to my friend for Christmas. My friend means the world to me and I hope she’ll really love this gift. It seems like something she’ll love to pieces.
